With a continuing commitment to family friendly recreation and a lucrative sports tourism product, the Administration is working closely with senators and the Caribbean Drag Racing Association to restore the St. Croix’s Motor Sports Complex. After identifying funding and securing a land donation from The Renaissance Group, the Administration is pleased to see this project advance.

The Port Authority has reconstructed the U.S. Customs and Border Protection terminal at the Victor Sewer Marine Facility in Cruz Bay for an improved travel experience. A customs facility is also planned for Red Hook.

DPW’s extensive work on undeveloped roads in St. Croix’s Estate Bugby Hole used funds for neglected roads not part of the federal highway system.

The Housing Authority has completed roof repairs in Pearson Gardens, Kirwan Terrace, Knolls at Contant, and Marley communities. FEMA has awarded $7.6 million more to repair nineteen structures in the Marley Homes complex.

The Port Authority continues to modernize the USVI’s transportation infrastructure with a new concrete bulkhead, loading ramp, and a multimillion-dollar facelift at St. Croix’s Svend Ovesen Seaplane Terminal.
